Apple Partners with Baidu: iPhone's Domestic Version May Integrate Wenxin 4.0 Model
Apple Inc. has partnered with Chinese tech giant Baidu to integrate Baidu's AI large model, Ernie 4.0, into the domestic version of the iPhone, aiming to enhance the AI experience for iPhone users. In this collaboration, Apple has paid the necessary fees to access Baidu's advanced AI technology. Although there have been some challenges during the adaptation process, such as the AI failing to provide accurate responses in certain common usage scenarios, Apple still has time for necessary testing and adjustments to ensure that the Chinese version of Apple Intelligence is effective.
